About Me

Massage is a part of me and who I am. As a young and very premature baby born in my Pacific home of Fiji, my grandmothers healing touch is part of the story of my growth and childhood. Shared through many generations of Tongan and Samoan ancestral mothers, massage brought me vibrancy, health and wellness and connection through my formative years. 

 

Wanting to reconnect with this part of myself as an adult, I discovered the study of Aromatherapy through local courses with Annie Prince. This led me to study at Wellpark College of Natural Therapies in Auckland in 2020, where I graduated with a Diploma in Wellness and Relaxation Massage Therapy. 

 

As well as connecting me to my past, this teaching opened up my mind to the amazing power of the body, and how multi-dimensional, and unique each individual is.  

 

Always wanting to learn and improve, I have continued my education and have studied an Introduction to Cupping with Nikki Blain. I have also studied Reiki Healing, Level 2 with the fantastic Pamela of Reiki by the Bay, and Level 3 with the wonderful Ann Kerwin. 

 

Empowered and inspired by the natural mana of Aotearoa, Planet Earth and of course my favourite New Zealand trees, Kōwhai and Kauri, which keep me connected and grounded, I founded Kōwhai Kauri Wellness.

​ I have been working on the Hibiscus Coast at Red Beach, Stanmore Bay, Warkworth and Silverdale since graduation in 2020.
